Our precious hearts are hurting in terribly uncertain and fractured times. The effort to stay open, to CARE, may feel like it is tearing us apart. How can we protect our precious hearts? How can we stay strong and resilient while navigating our personal challenges and witnessing so much hardship?
Come to Courage Camp and join like-minded women as we explore CARE. We have a conscious choice of how to respond to our thoughts and beliefs. We have an opportunity to step out of the autopilot of armoring our hearts by remembering who we want to be and how we want to show up.
Ritual, play, creativity, and sharing will all be a part of our retreat. Together and individually our exploration may include elements of Cate’s training with Dr. Brené Brown and Debbie Ford (The Ford Institute of Integrative Coaching). It is our opportunity to tap into our inner worlds by engaging with the outer world in this beautiful, safe setting with exercises in exploration, meditation, and creativity.
Our ALL-INCLUSIVE RETREAT location is Wiawaka Center for Women on beautiful Lake George in the Adirondack Park of Upstate New York. Your investment includes lodging Friday and Saturday night, as well as dinner Friday, three meals Saturday, and breakfast Sunday. After registering, you will be offered options for lunch on arrival Friday and lunch before you leave on Sunday (to be paid at the retreat). There is a dock to allow easy access for swimming and relaxing during your free time. The campus is spread out, so expect to be walking. Some adventures will be outdoors, weather permitting. This historic site, with Victorian Cottages, an Adirondack style lodge, and newer housing, has no air conditioning. Temperatures tend to cool off in the Adirondack Mountain evenings and all rooms have fans. All rooms are private with shared bathrooms.
There is an option for WORKSHOP ONLY if you wish to stay off campus.
