Guidepost for Wholehearted Living: In this mini-workshop we will explore what it means to live “wholeheartedly”, based on Dr. Brené Brown’s research and bestselling book, The Gifts of Imperfection.  As we exhaust ourselves striving to be perfect, we are invited to step into the human reality that we are imperfect beings who are still 100% worthy of love and belonging. Together we’ll choose one or two of the 10 guideposts for discussion. These include: Cultivating Authenticity and Letting Go of What People Think; Cultivating Calm and Stillness and Letting Go of Anxiety as a Lifestyle; Cultivating a Resilient Spirit and Letting Go of Numbing and Powerlessness; and more.

Thursday, November 9, 2017, 7 – 9 PM

How Values Light the Way: “A value is a way of being or believing that you hold most important.” – Dr. Brené Brown. It can be a challenge to show up as our authentic selves and step courageously into new venues. We need not go it alone! In addition to the people to support us, we have our values to light the way. In this mini-workshop, we’ll identify and reflect on our core values and what specifically supports our values. In addition, we’ll look at what happens when we struggle, feel overwhelmed and lose clarity and commitment to our values. We’ll also identify and celebrate when we most radiated our “light by embodying our values. Exercises included are from The Daring Way™ curriculum.
